Now seven weeks at the top for SEGA's Olympic Games title.
SEGA's Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has bounced back to the top of the All Formats All Prices video game chart, knocking EA's Army of Two down a place to No.2. The Sonic and Mario partnership has now sat atop of the chart for seven weeks.
Sales of Army of Two are down 39% over its debut week and is the reason for its single place fall (sales of Mario & Sonic only fell by 22%). Rockstar's Bully: Scholarship Edition climbs a place from No.4 to No.3, switching places with Brain Training, while Call of Duty 4 holds onto fifth place for a third successive week.
Widespread retailer promotion for Take-Two's Carnival: Funfair Games push it to its highest ever chart position at No.6, while Activision's Guitar Hero III is also a high climber up from No.20 to No.7. The climbers continues to come with Cooking Mama 2 up from No.12 to No.9, making the Top 10 for the first time since release five weeks ago. Rounding off the Top 10 is EA's FIFA 08, up four places to No.10.
The week's only new entries are Codemasters' Turning Point: Fall of Liberty at No.17 and Rising Star Games' No More Heroes at No.18.
Expect strong chart debuts next week from Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and SEGA Superstar Tennis.

This game has remained unbelievably popular. Don't get me wrong, its a pretty good game when you play multiplayer, but its too casual. Something like No More Heroes deserves to be at the top. I hope Sega Superstars Tennis doesn't do the same.
