Nintendo has confirmed that a Zelda spin-off RPG staring Tingle is currently in development for the Nintendo DS.
Titled 'Mogitate Tingle Bara Iro Rupee Land' (Fresh Tingle's Rose Coloured Rupee Land), the game sees players take on the role of Tingle, a character who has appeared in Majora's Mask and Wind Waker. However, in the game he is just 35 years old and had not yet been transformed into the Tingle form.
In Tingle's Rose Coloured Rupee Land a man called Rupeeji, which translates to Old Man Rupee, tells Tingle to collect rupees and a then throw them into a magical spring. Completing this task will ensure he is lead to Rupee Land where he'll be transformed into Tingle form.
A fairy called Pingle will also feature in the game and communicate with the player via a TV in your house (not your house, but Tingle's house), but her exact purpose isn't yet known. The game's out in Japan later this year on the DS.

Great. Now I can finally play with the character that's too gay to be a host on Queer Eye.
