So overall, whilst the PS3 has less exclusives than the 360, it has quite a few decent ones (LBP, Resistance 2, SOCOM: Confrontation, Valkyria Chronicles) to be getting on with as well as Home, which is a major, major change for the PS3 online environment. It seems to be aimed at the hardcore mainly, with family/social gaming as a sideline.
The 360 has quite a few exclusives but only two of them really appeal to me personally (Fable 2, Banjo-Kazooie), and the dashboard upgrade is really just a lick of paint compared to the complete rebuild of PS3's Home. A very hardcore list with just a few token efforts to branch out into other areas.
I sometimes wish I were 10 years old again and starting to get into gaming for the first time, because that Wii list just owns everything when it comes to younger gamers and there are a few titles mixed in there to please the hardcore too. Bit of everything in there exclusive-wise but seems to be mainly family/social oriented.
As it is I'm old and I like my RPGs, so I'm happy sticking with the 360. Overall, doesn't matter what console you own, you should be very busy playing your favourite genre come the holidays. I pity anyone's wallet who owns all 3 consoles, I really do.
