A job advertisement seeking a gameplay designer for a new Bond video game has revealed that Treyarch will be handling development.

Treyarch are real busy bees at the moment. Not only is the Activision developer working on possibly the biggest game of the year in Call of Duty 3, but has also been handed the reigns of Activision's latest acquisition - the James Bond license. That's according to a job listing posted on the Activision website.
The ad description notes that "Treyarch is looking for a Gameplay Designer for our upcoming Bond title, and that "The studio is focusing on developing and hiring for next gen titles."
If you're wondering how Activision ended up with the Bond license then you clearly missed the news back in May, when it was announced that Activision had acquired "worldwide rights to create video games for all current- and next-generation consoles, PC, and handheld platforms." The license had been in the hands of EA, but the publisher decided to give it up.
If you're thinking of applying for the job at Treyarch, then good for you, as it sounds like a great place to work. Not only do "Team members enjoy playing weekly basketball games, afternoon foosball or working out at the neighboring gym," but you can also look forward to "Friday morning bagels."
