SCEA's Phil Harrison has revealed that the PS3 FPS Resistance: Fall of Man will receive additional content starting in April.
Talking to Newsweek's N'Gai Croal, Harrison has revealed that Resistance: Fall of Man players will begin to see new downloadable content from April. Harrison says that this new content will extend the current story, adding new locations in the process. It's also thought that the update will include some new multiplayer maps.
Harrison believes that the new content will "keep the engagement with the game going between now and should there be a sequel at some point in the future."
Assuming the next Resistance is more than a year away, that's going to have to be some hefty downloadable content. Harrison didn't reveal how much the new content will cost gamers - assuming it's not released for free.
