Japanese publisher quashes recent internet rumours
After an article on Killer 7 was topped with a Wii logo on the official Capcom website, rumours quickly spread that a port to Nintendo's console with motion-sensitive controls was due.
However, Capcom was quick to remove the article and post a news story denying the rumours, sighting errors with their testing realm as the reason for the offending article.
Their company confirms; "Sharp-eyed browsers of the website may have noticed that the Killer 7 gamesheet was showing a Wii symbol yesterday. We are sorry to disappoint Killer 7 fans who thought this meant a Wii version might be on the horizon, but we can confirm that there are currently no plans for a Killer 7 version for the Wii platform."
