Microsoft soon to announce more Japanese support for Xbox 360.

The latest issue of Japanese magazine, Famitsu, is reporting that Microsoft will soon announce another group of publishers and games for the Xbox 360, which will be aimed at the Japanese audience. The announcement is expected at a conference in July, with a Microsoft representative saying "there could be some major surprises."

Games currently rumoured to be part of the announcement include a new Ridge Racer game from Namco and a new game from Square-Enix. Neither of these are confirmed, but rumours of a Japanese developed racer for the Xbox 360 have been around for some time and Square-Enix showed a tech-demo at E3 which many people believed to be a game they had in development.

We'll have to wait to find out what surprises are really in store, but we'll bring you all the info as we hear it.
