Who will win the fight to show their next console first? Sony or Microsoft?
Sony has announced that they will hold their pre-E3 press conference at 15:00 PST on Monday, May 16th, just three hours before Microsoft hold their own press conference. With the Sony conference set to last for at least one hour, this could cause some problems for members of the press who wish to attend both conferences. Sony's is being held on a sound stage in Sony Picture's complex in Culiver City, located just outside LA, while Microsoft's event is being held in downtown LA, so some press may be forced to chose one or the other.
However, CNN are reporting that Microsoft will now reveal their new console three days earlier than planned. Is Sony going to react by announcing something even earlier? Who knows, but expect excitement to reach dangerously high levels as E3 and the preceding conferences approach.
