Added 26/03/2006 - 4:08pm GMTType the following codes at the intro screen. This is the screen that says "CLICK to Continue" right after the intro movies and BEFORE the main menu. If entered correctly, a message will come up letting you know what you have unlocked.

To get an extra $10,000 in career mode, have a Need For Speed Underground or Need For Speed Underground 2 career game saved on your hard drive. After the prologue you will have $40,000.

Comment for the game. If you upgrade your car, all cars you race will have similar upgrades (i.e. Nitro). If you use trainer that gives you infinite Nitro, your competition will have the same. If you buy a fast car, upgrades (i.e. SLK 500), your competion will match your car's performance; game will be faster, harder.
