Disney sees Prince of Persia as a potential new blockbuster motion picture series.
Years ago there were some murmurings that Ubisoft's Prince of Persia video game franchise was to make the transition to the silver screen. Developments on the movie project then went quiet but it still appears as though the movie is most definitely on.
Disney blogger Jim Hill recently updated his blog with news that Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films are eyeing up Ubisoft's franchise as a possible blockbuster film series - debuting as early as summer 2008.

Because it's thought that a film based on this hugely popular series of Ubisoft Entertainment games (Which -- in theory -- will be Disney's big action-adventure release for the Summer of 2008) could then lead to a new hit series of movies for the studio," writes Hill.
If the summer 2008 release is accurate then it won't be too long until some solid information begins to appear. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any developments.

Prince of persia is an awesome game , all 3 of them but I hope that the gore is still in it because if disney is in this too Im thinking that there wont be much epical gore and something is going to be disapointing in the movie..If not and the movie is going to be actualy good Im so gonna buy the movie
