CEO Bobby Kotick says Activision has become the 'destination location for independently minded entrepreneurial talent'.
Silicon Alley Insider reports that the Houser brothers - creators of the GTA franchise - could end up as part of the Activision Blizzard empire.
Speaking at an investor conference, Activision-Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick wouldn't be drawn on directly answering questions regarding the future of the Housers, but did note that they'd be right at home at Activision Blizzard.
"We really embrace the individual studio model. We know how to take studios and talented teams and appropriately incentivize them. We've definitely become the destination location for independently minded entrepreneurial talent," said Kotick.
Earlier this week analyst Michael Pachter noted that he expects a bidding war for the services of the Housers will begin in February 2009.
