Famitsu magazine reports that Ninja Gaiden is heading to the PlayStation 3.
The Japanese magazine reports that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is currently in development for the PlayStation 3. Apparently players will be able to take control of Rachel, but it's not clear if this is in addition or instead of Ryu Hayabusa.
Also unclear is whether Ninja Gaiden Sigma is an all new game in the series or simply a polished version of the Xbox game. The latter would appear more likely given the recent praise series creator Tomonobu Itagaki has been lavishing the Xbox 360 with. Only a few weeks ago, Itagaki told IGN that Team Ninja is "going to continue bringing out the newest releases on the Xbox platform before they're on other systems."
Should Ninja Gaiden Sigma be an all-new next-gen game, then Itagaki has performed a remarkably fast u-turn.

God it has to try and cash in on everything. Sony i mean, 360 owners deserve the game so we should have it.

I doubt it's Ninja Gaiden 2. More like when Onimusha hit the Xbox with a few new weapons, features, and enemies. I'm sure 360 will get the true sequel first, then PS3 might get it a few years down the road.

Haven't Tecmo said that they had DoAXV2 plus something else coming before they were looking at NG2?

It's irrelevent. Whatever Tecmo's got planned I'll still get pasted by the first boss who comes my way :(
