Offensive term has been removed and the family friendly game will be back on sale soon.
Nintendo has today confirmed that Mario Party 8 will be re-released in the UK on August 3, minus the offending term which saw the game pulled form shelves shortly after making its debut.
In its first week on sale in the UK, Mario Party 8 entered the All Formats Video Game Chart at No.5. The title has been cleaning up in the US where it has already sold well in excess of half a million units.
