Fan feedback has led to a host of changes and new additions.
In a recent post on the official Battlefield: Bad Company website, DICE has outlined a host of fixes and additions to the game that have come about thanks to player feedback.
In addition to working on a map pack, DICE has announced Trophy support is to be patched into the PlayStation 3 version of the game. A number of other "priority fixes" are in the works, including improved server performance, fixed Dog Tag Lag and fixed PS3 voice chat.
The update, which will go live at the same time as the new maps, also includes a bunch of game tweaks and free weapons to all - Pre-order weapon, Newsletter sign-up weapon and Demo weapon will be available to everyone playing Battlefield: Bad Company.

No date yet, but yes they should be free, like the last update.
