I don't think this game will be too good, but personally, I'd love to knock out several zombies with a bowling ball.
I'm tempted to rent it, although buying it doesn't seem like a good idea for the moment.

if you think the SCREENSHOTS look good check out the MOVIE on cover dvds from 360 mags, THEN you'll KNOW how amazing this does look! I HAVEN'T GOT LIVE SO I CAN'T COMMENT HOW IT PLAYS!
Personanly i can't wait for the release, and quite a few more 360 games i might add, as i WILL be pick up dead rising on day one.
Also has anyone tried the new lost planet demo thats floating around on a certain mags front cover, THIS too does look and play incredible !
THE FUTURE IS DEFINTELY 360 INDEED!

oh and have u guyz seen the comercial of dead rising its one of the best game comercial ever made....i cant wait to skateboard and kill zombies with it cuz thats my hobby in real life and zombie bowling and the first thing im guna do when i get it im guna unlock to the sports store in the mall and im guna get like 30 golf balls and a golf club and go on top of something where no zombies can get me and have a little golf game.....the best part about this game is ANY thing i mean ANY thing u see u can take and kill zombies with like that is crazy!!! and i like how the game has some humor in it with the hole sticking the shower thing in the zombies head and it rains blood and the whole sticking a pole in the zombies stomach and watching blood leak out the other side...............my dislikes for this game is probably the thing where u have 72 hours till the helecopter arrives but you know what i think u will playing for a whole bunch more time than 72 hours but i havnt played it so the 72 hour thing my be good i have so much more to say but i dont want u guyz to read forever so im guna finish this with a...........THIS GAME LOOKS SICK!!!!(as in awsome)

I change my mind, I played the demo and it is great. I guess I under-estimated the 360's abilities to have hundreds of zombies on the screen at a time. Smashing a plant pot onto the head of a zombie is fun and eating cream pies is even better.
And there's no such thing as 'bad taste,' everyone is welcome to express their personal thoughts and opinions and everyone has DIFFERENT taste, none bad or good.
Oh, and 72 hours to wait until the helicopter arrives means more time to kill zombies. :)
